This latest of Rowan's Patchwork & Quilting books is edited and styled by Kaffe Fassett with 20 quilts of his own designs, and those of his favourite designers. Kaffe and his chosen designers have gone to town mixing fabrics from Kaffe Fassett's Quilt Road with the new ones Kaffe has added to his range, as can be seen in the Ohio Star Quilt by Kaffe and the Snowball Quilt by Brandon. To encourage readers to explore the many possible combinations of fabrics and colourways, Kaffe has taken a traditional quilt layout and created two different versions with different fabrics. His two versions of 'Pinwheels' and 'Ohio Star' demonstrate this beautifully.
