Shadows of a Childhood
Two young Jewish girls are hidden in a Bordeaux convent to escape the Nazi roundup. After the war, one girl resumes a normal life, while the other searches for answers about their parents' disappearance. Based on the true experiences of the daughters of Russian writer and Auschwitz inmate Irene Nemirovsky, this is a fictionalized account of coming to terms with the war.
