Biological Psychology
This textbook provides an introduction to the connections between biology and key issues in psychology--issues like language, learning, sexual behavior, anxiety, aggression, deviance, and the mind-body problem. Chapters also draw attention to the biological mechanisms involved, including nerve cells and nerve impulses, synapses and hormones, and the anatomy of the nervous system. An included CD-ROM features activities correlated chapter by chapter. Kalat teaches at North Caroline State University.
