Biological Psychology
This book studies the relationship between biological factors (mostly brain activity) and behaviour. It shows students how such aspects of brain physiology as neuro-transmission and neuroanatomy relate to real psychological topics such as language, sexual behaviour, drug addiction, depression, depression and schizophrenia. The fifth edition has been updated with research in neurobiology with emphasis on the human phenomena and the effects of physiology on behaviour, all of which the author aims to portray in a way that engages student interest rather than churning out facts. The Dictionary of Biological Psychology by the same author is free with this text.
