Vestry Lane's favorite solicitor has long since learned not to trust members of the ton. Particularly the women. But when sweet and proper Miss Mary Turner arrives unannounced in his office declaring that she needs his help....well, it's difficult to remember that he's sworn off proper young ladies.

But then again, this young lady might not be as proper as she seems. In fact, she seems rather intent on getting herself into trouble. And it turns out the one thing this noble man of law can't resist...is rescuing a naughty damsel.
