Chameleons
After 50 years in practice psychiatrist Esther Rabinowitz, M.D., PsyD, F.A.C.P., BC-TMH, had had enough. She had put the ethics of her profession ahead of her good judgement too many times and watched helplessly as the mental health of her most-needy patients deteriorated. It was now time to use common sense. The problem was, there was no precedent for what she wanted to do: to match Phillip Harding, a man with a damaging and incurable predisposition to dominate, and Brooke Devereaux, a young woman with an equally destructive predisposition to submit. In the end, she went ahead anyway. At first, it seemed like her matchmaking had a chance, but gradually, her patients' psychosis manifested itself as "dangerous excess," which threatened to unravel everything. Instead of backing off, however, she doubled down by introducing a third party, another submissive, into the mix. The results would have made medical history if she had dared to publish them.
