The package includes a CD of listening exercises. Beginners are given a simple but thorough guidance in their first steps into the language with reading texts and everyday vocabulary. All explanations are in English and the lessons are supported by a large number of illustrations. Each lesson introduces the main grammatical features and rules, which are then followed up with exercises. The Authors are all experienced teachers of Icelandic for foreigners at the University of Iceland.
