Anne of Green Gables 2 - Anne of Avonlea
The tale of the lively and imaginative Anne has captivated generations of readers, transporting them to the quaint setting of Green Gables, an old-fashioned farmstead outside Avonlea in Canada.
Now 16 years old, Anne is ready to take her place as a full member of Avonlea society. She continues her own studies at home, assisted by Gilbert, while she takes on the job as teacher at Avonlea school. Although a little wiser than before, she soon finds herself in the sort of scrapes anyone who knows Anne is familiar with.
Anne of Avonlea is the second book in the series about Anne of Green Gables.
