About the Author
With 30+ years of experience, Chris is a world class marketer turned active advisor, investor, board member, academic and author. His corporate career spanned 23 years working for global FMCG blue chips like P&G (90-95), The Coca-Cola Company (95-07), and Anheuser-Busch InBev (CMO 07-12). End 2012 he created his own NYC based marketing capability and strategy consultancy (www.vicomte.com), advising non CPG / private equity / tech scale ups in need of his deep branding experience.
He joined NYU Stern as adjunct faculty and capstone director in various top global programs (12- ). Chris is a multilingual Belgian American. He holds a TRIUM Global EMBA from NYU Stern/LSE/HEC (05), a Masters in European Economics from the Centre Européen Universitaire de Nancy (France, 88), and a Masters in International Business and Economics from the KU Leuven (Belgium, 86).
Always pioneering, with skin in the game, Chris was among the first senior CPG leaders to play an active role in the fast growing global cannabis business, and will likely become the first CMO in space (via Virgin Galactic).
