This book features a short biography of the Peruvian artists life and his significance during the 1940s to the American war effort and then proceeds to show his works done in Esquire. The highlight of this book are really Vargas's work, which the book dedicates about 100 large pages to their glory. This book gave me a real appreciation for his work. I once found the Varga girls to be somewhat overtly sexual and too erotic but now I find them beautiful, innocent and classy.
