Photography Books by Julian Bound - Tokyo
TOKYO a photography book JULIAN BOUND.
A photographic guide to Tokyo by National Geographic contributor and award winning documentary photographer Julian Bound.
With its tranquil shrines and parks and neon lit skyscrapers it is this mixture of old and new which gives Tokyo its world uniqueness. From Shinjuku's neon flashes enticing those seeking the city's nightlife in the risqué Kabukicho district, to alleyways of restaurants offering Japanese street food of 'yakatori' - grilled bamboo skewered meat, and to the ornate temples of Zōjō-ji and Meji-Jingu providing peace of mind for all those who enter their sacred grounds, all these sights combine together and so produce the individuality and exclusive quality that is Tokyo.
