Herein is the account of the experience of the author joining the army think he was in fact a heterosexual male as required by the rules and regs of the time and finding it wasn't necessary so. It is not maybe a pleasant read. It is set in the year 1987 and is the best recollection of the author after a bit of editing. The name of those have been removed since frankly I don't not want to be sued over recounting the tale.
