Chevalier - a textured lace shawl pattern to knit
Inspired by the badges of Knightly orders, Chevalier is suited to the intermediate-to-advanced knitter. Cables, twists, smocked and embossed stitches give a richness of textural detail, while openwork rib, basketweave mesh, and traditional lace stitches give lightness as well as warmth. The unusual scooped-out half circle shape drapes prettily and stays comfortably on the wearer's shoulders.
This is a full written pattern with row-by-row instrctions and supporting charts.
Materials:
650-700m of Gosyo Hokkori Hitsujichan Natural or other sport-weight yarn
