Alyssa was a torment to her parents, which was how she came to be shuffled off to a distant boarding school to redo her senior year. St. Bartholomew had a philosophy which endorsed not spoiling children by sparing rods - even if those 'children' were eighteen. Miss Jones, a harshly religious woman, would ensure she was properly disciplined. Or at least, that was the theory.
