A colour atlas of human anatomy
A Colour Atlas of Human Anatomy contains over 700 natural size photographs of bones and dissections of the body. Designed for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, the Atlas offers to the newcomer and revision student alike a unique approach to supplementing textbook information: it shows structures as they actually exist in the dissected body. So often the interior of the body seems to look very different from the textbook diagrams, and the student can be easily confused when confronted with actual specimens in the dissecting room or in examinations. This Atlas will bridge the gap that at present exists between books and ‘the real thing’, and will become an essential complement to textbooks and dissecting manuals. The method of labelling (by numbers with accompanying keys) enables students both to learn and to test their knowledge.
