In the third volume of her biography, Freya Stark records her travels in Egypt, the Persian Gulf, Greece, Italy and the Middle East during the thirties, as well as to South Arabia. The author also wrote "Dust in the Lion's Paw" and "The Southern Gates of Arabia".
