Málaga Travel Highlights

Málaga, the birthplace of artist Pablo Picasso, is a coastal city on the Costa del Sol in Andalusia in southern Spain. Picasso left in 1895, but his modernist paintings and sculptures have influenced Málaga’s art schools and architecture. The city has two well-preserved Islamic citadels, remnants of the era when Spain was part of the Moorish realm. Sunbathers and swimmers frolic in its beaches and in the warm sea while golfers tee off at its world-class courses.

Including Medieval Castle (Alcazaba), Cathedral of Málaga, Atarazanas Market, Roman Theatre, Picasso Museum, Constitution Square, Merced Square, Historical Core of Malaga, Gibralfaro Castle, Malagueta Beach, La Malagueta Bullring & Museum, Parque de Málaga, Marina, La Concepcion Historical-Botanical Gardens, Temple of the Sacred Heart, Centre Pompidou Málaga, Basilica of Santa Maria de la Victoria, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Teatro Cervantes, The Treasure Cave, Plaza del Obispo, Church of Santiago, Mercado Salamanca, Capilla del Agua, Customs Palace (Palacio de la Aduana) and many more sightseeing highlights of Málaga.
