Working at Portland Grace has always been fun, until Tanner Wilson arrives—or Doctor Drop-Dead Gorgeous as all the scrub nurses have started calling him. Not me, though. Just thinking about him gives me heart palpitations. Not only is Tanner my brother’s best friend, he’s also my new boss. A boss who looks way too good in scrubs.

To make matters worse, I’ve got to share an apartment with him, all thanks to my stupid brother who offered him our spare room. Ugh. Do you know how torturous is it to watch a hot doc scoop cereal into his mouth every morning and having to pretend he means nothing to you?

Being offered Head of Trauma at Portland Grace is a dream come true, but I didn’t count on Hazel Green becoming my new scrub nurse. Don’t get me wrong, she’s good at her job, but to me she’ll always be my best friend’s little sister. Extremely cute, but also extremely off-limits.

As long as I can convince her that I don’t like her at all, I’ll be fine. At least, that’s the lie I keep telling myself.
